Travel

Sheffield is linked into the national motorway via the M1 and M18. Sheffield is an important hub in the national network of long-distance bus routes.

The Midland Mainline railway links Sheffield to London with other networks travelling across the country.

The closest international airport is Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport but Manchester, Leeds Bradford and East Midlands are within one hour of the city.

Within Sheffield there is a good bus system and Supertram which connects a number of Sheffield’s suburbs with the city centre and Meadowhall at the edge of the city.

Travel South Yorkshire is a good place to start for all your transport needs while here.
