Council Leader Cllr Tom Hunt responds to Race Equality Commission discussion
Yesterday, Strategy and Resources Committee met to discuss the action plan for the Race Equality Commission (REC).
Members of the public came along and put their questions to the committee, detailing their experiences and calling for action.
Councillor Tom Hunt, Leader of Sheffield City Council, spoke immediately after Strategy and Resources, of the REC discussion in the council chamber (above).
The REC action plan was agreed at Strategy & Resources Committee. A further report on progress will be brought to the Committee again in December 2023.
