The Prince’s Trust Team programme is based in Dearne Fire Station, Barnsley (Broadway) and Sheffield (Parkway) Fire Station and offers young people the chance to get involved in team building activities, a week-long residential trip away to the Peak District, a community project and two weeks of work experience during the course.
The course also includes advice on employability, as well as the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications including:
- Level 2 HABC Food Hygiene
- John Muir Discovery Award
- Level 2 HABC First Aid at Work
- IoSH Working Safely
- Prince’s Trust Qualification in Employment
- Teamwork and Community
- British Sign Language Awareness
We push young people to believe that they can achieve anything, to show them that is just hard work and commitment that can see them succeed.
