At the Education, Children & Families Committee meeting yesterday (Tuesday 3rd September), it was recommended the permanent closure of the nursery – based at Springfield School near the city centre - take place, pending the four-week public consultation.

The acclaimed artist's new sculptural installation at the former cutlery factory, Eye Witness Works, is open to the public from 6pm today.
Taking five months to create, the exhibition, which is free to attend, is open until 6 April. Check out full event details and opening times.
