Sheffield Grand Prix returns for its 10th year

The Sheffield Grand Prix – Sheffield's very own city centre cycle race – returns this evening (Wednesday 17th July) for its 10th year.

The event is part of the British Cycling National Circuit Race Series, attracting the UK’s top teams and riders to race around the 1.4km city centre circuit.

The event circuit begins by the Peace Gardens in the city centre and the route takes both elite cyclists and biking enthusiasts past famous landmarks such as the Crucible Theatre and Sheffield Town Hall, before finishing on Union Street.

For more information, see the Sheffield Grand Prix website.

The event takes place just days after it was announced that Sheffield would kick off the third leg of the 2024 Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men, this September.
