Reducing the risk of someone being killed or seriously injured on Sheffield’s roads is at the heart of the Council’s new Road Safety Action Plan.
Sheffield Safeguarding Week 8-12 July
‘Keeping safe in Sheffield’ is the theme of this year’s Sheffield Safeguarding Awareness week, running from 8-12 July.
The Moor Market will act as a hub of activity, hosting different organisations from across the city and helping people with a range of topics such as:
- Rogue traders and scams
- Domestic abuse
- Parenting advice
- Fire safety
- Illegal money lending
Whether you are worried about something personal, concerned about someone else, or just want to understand a little more about what safeguarding means, drop in between 9:30-4:30 Monday to Friday.

Representatives from the following organisations will be available throughout the week: Trading Standards, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, South Yorkshire Police, NHS, Sheffield Futures, SCC services inc. safeguarding teams, Early years, family centres, Housing & Neighbourhoods, IDAS (Domestic Abuse support), Heeley City Farm and Healthwatch.
