Time running out to register to vote in Woodhouse by-election

On Thursday 28 November 2024, voters in the Woodhouse ward will go to the polls to elect a Councillor to represent them on Sheffield City Council.

However, if you haven’t registered to vote in the by-election, time is running out.

The deadline to register to vote is midnight on Tuesday 12 November.

You can register to cast your ballot here.

To apply for a postal vote in the by-election, you have until 5pm on Wednesday 13 November.

To request a postal vote, you can do so here.

A total of seven candidates are standing in the by-election. Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 28 November.

Counting is due to take place overnight on Thursday 28 November with the result expected to be declared once all the counting has been completed.
