VIDEO: Managing Sheffield's Trees and Woodlands - have your say
Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in Europe, with four trees for every person and access to 180 woodlands.
Members of the public are invited to have their say and help shape the future for the city’s trees and woodlands as part of the consultation on Sheffield's Draft Trees and Woodlands Strategy. Councillor Mary Lea, along with Woodland Managers Dave Aspinall and Jerry Gunton, explain why it's so important that people get involved and have their say.
The consultation, which opened on Friday 30 September, runs for a period of two months, until Thursday 1 December 2016.
People can read the draft strategy document plus other supporting documents, and complete the survey at https://sheffield.citizenspace.com/place-planning-1/trees-and-woodlands-strategy-consultation. The draft strategy document is also available at www.sheffield.gov.uk/parksandcountryside.
All feedback will be analysed and considered to help inform the final strategy document, which will be released for implementation in 2017.
If people need an alternative way to provide feedback or have any questions they can contact email@example.com or call 0114 2500500.
