Fan Walks will start from the Fan Parties at Devonshire Green

UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 semi-final between England and Sweden takes place on Tuesday 26 July.

Prior to the game supporters can take part in a 'fan walk' to the stadium.

In Sheffield the walks will start from the Fan Party that is being held on Devonshire Green.

To facilitate the Fan Walks safely, a number of roads both on the route and the surrounding areas, will be closed for a period of time.

  • Fitzwilliam Street
  • Charter Row
  • Cumberland Street
  • Eyre Street
  • St Mary's Gate
  • St Mary's Road
  • Bramall Lane

Traffic management in place from 4pm, roads closed from 5.45-7.15pm

Before the Fan Walk starts there will be a period of time where the closures will allow access and egress onto roads (a soft closure) but approximately 30 minutes before the Fan Walks start no vehicle movement will be allowed.

Once the Fan Walk has passed the roads will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so.

As this is such an important fixture in the tournament it is expected to be very busy in the city centre so additional road closures will be in place from 12pm-8pm at:

  • Pinstone Street
  • Cross Burgess Street
  • Cambridge Street
  • Carver Lane
  • Backfields
  • Carver Street
  • Rockingham Lane
  • Rockingham Street
  • Division Street

Several Roads around the Devonshire Green area will be closed for a longer period of time to facilitate the fan zone on Devonshire Green 12noon – 11pm:

  • Devonshire Street
  • Westfield Terrace
  • Eldon Street
  • West Hill Lane

There will be some disruption to public transport in the area.

People travelling by public transport are advised to check before they travel and plan ahead.
