Sheffield's Heart of the City II scheme moves forward as essential structural work begins on the historic Leah's Yard and further plans for Cambridge Street are approved.

A bold new look for the Gaumont Building

Plans have been submitted to redesign the Gaumont Building in Sheffield city centre as part of the Council's Heart of the City II scheme. The proposal would see the building's current red steel frame replaced by a contemporary design with living walls.
